Relationship Manager, Global Bank Relationship (Financial Institutions) recruitment

Responsibilities:

Manage Forfaiting business in either 100% assignment type or funded/unfunded risk participation type of transactions
Manage Buyers’ Credit Financing business in either primary market or secondary market via risk-participation
Manage Bill of Exchange Discounting and Silent Payment Guarantee business
Establish and maintain good relationship with selected FI counterparties in relation to secondary transactions
Assist in the negotiation and execution of MRPAs
To apply and manage bank lines for trade transactions, e.g.: trade loan, guarantee, counterparty limits etc
Establish primary relationships with banks in the South and South East Asia region and solicit trade and other business
Manage timely credit reviews of bank facilities
To build up the Branch to become a primary player in the trade finance market

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years relevant FI relationship management experience in a banking environment
Familiar with trade finance transaction, e.g. Letter of Credit under UCP 600, D/A, D/P and Account Opening transactions
Has at least 2 years experience in buying and selling Forfaiting, Buyer’s Credit Finance, Bill of Exchange Discounting and Silent Payment Guarantees
Familiar with Master Risk Participation Agreement
Good credit report writing skills in relation to application of bank lines for loans and trade transactions, e.g.: trade loan, guarantee, counterparty limit
Good communication skills
Aggressive and efficient in following up on transactions and closing deals
Ability to speak and read Chinese is an added advantage
Willing to travel to regional countries in the South and South East Asia region
