Overview:
Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) comprises three businesses: Corporate Finance, Markets and Global Transaction Banking (GTB) and includes regional coverage in the Bank's key growth areas.
Acting as a Relationship Manager and first point of contact to serve the relevant client base; you will be able to identify opportunities, structure solutions and execute these with the help of product partners. Key customer contacts will be at the Treasurer level. You will also assist in marketing to existing and potential new clients to develop new revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for ensuring that Deutsche Bank is the provider of choice for clients and that all avenues for working with a client across different geographies and products are explored.
You will form and run Client Service Teams with product teams for key relationships to deliver creative solutions and provide follow up as required.
You will co-ordinate with other Deutsche Bank colleagues overseas to ensure clients receive seamless worldwide banking services.
You will originate new transactions from both existing and new clients.
You will assist team leaders to form viable business strategies, implementation plans, as well as prompt work process adjustments from time to time to adapt to changes in the market/regulatory environments.
You will give instruction/coach to junior staff for efficient deal execution and career development.
You will help build and maintain Deutsche Bank's profile in the local corporate and banking industry through active engagement in select professional organizations and government sponsored bodies.
You will have:
Excellent communication skills in terms of the ability to present to seniors confidently and knowledgably.
Solid accounting, financial, and credit analysis skills.
Thorough knowledge of different bank products, particularly commercial/transaction banking products.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Client service experience in the banking industry paired with a strong sense of accountability and integrity. This will be accompanied with extensive exposure in Japan and an understanding of the business environment, regulatory regime and market trends.
International work experience.
You will be:

Motivated and results oriented.
Fluent in Japanese and English, both verbal and written.
