Working within Business Banking, the role is responsible for actively managing and growing a portfolio of accounts through client acquisition, cross-sell and referrals will have to drive increased profitability by acquiring new to bank customers through the development of customer strategies eg. customer calling programmes, converting prospective customer leads to sales opportunities. You will also provide coaching, direction and effective communication to an Assistant Manager in particular around credit and risk awareness.

To be successful in the role, you will have:
• General Relationship management experience, ideally doing deals between $1-10 million and an average of between $4-5 million
• Demonstrated ability to originate new customers
• Demonstrated people management and coaching skills
• Excellent customer focus
• Strong understanding of the Business Owner Agenda and ability to translate and implement into daily activities
• Proven analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
