Relationship Manager, Private Banking recruitment

Responsibilities:

• To be the primary relationship manager to a portfolio of customers

• To increase retention rate and share of wallet and or existing customers and acquire new high net worth customers by – provision of high quality service, matching financial solutions with customer needs and goals, and fostering quality internal referrals from existing customers.

• Maximise income generation in order to meet individual and department yearly budget.

• To meet revenue and sales targets agreed for the year.

• To promote a Corporate Risk Management culture in the business. To implement and maintain the risk management framework and monitor risks in a timely manner.

• To ensure a strong risk management framework and discipline, and ensure adherence to internal risk management policies as well as regulator and external legislation. 

• To escalate any problems, issues or risks which could potentially have a negative impact on any aspect of business operations, financial position or the level and quality of service provided to customers.

• Coach, monitor and supervise direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their role to be compliant with risk management processes, framework and policies as well as local regulator and external legislation.

• To conform with all internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position

• Conduct Annual Review on existing customers’ files

Requirements:

• Degree holder.

• 4 to 6 years of experience in financial services, with proven sales skills, knowledge of financial services products and services.

• Possess good network and contact in the community for business development.

• Holder will have relevant licenses IIAQ paper 1, 3, 5 and SFC paper 1, 7, 8.

• Good understanding of local/target market and Credit policies and processes.
