Relationship Manager, Property recruitment
The Institutional Banking and Markets group offers a unique and broad value proposition to our clients across debt, equity, risk management and transactional products and services.
Reporting to the Relationship Executive, Property, this role will support client teams to manage the business origination and relationship management of a portfolio of Institutional Banking clients across the complete range of Bank products, to position the Commonwealth Bank as the primary financial services provider to this sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide input into portfolio and client planning and client prioritisation which reflect product strategies and strengths, market developments and opportunities
- Assist the Relationship Executive in developing client-focused presentations (including marketing pitches, relationship reviews and discussion papers) based on company specific research, analysis and relevant CBA product capabilities.
- As necessary work with RE and product specialists in performing industry analysis on targeted sectors and client segments for the purpose of identifying common needs for these client groups to support business origination initiatives.
- Working closely with the Relationship Executive and Risk team on deal process including primary responsibility in the preparation of credit applications (new and Annual Reviews) and overseeing the overall execution process from origination to deal close.
- Be involved in the preparation of facility documentation (offer letters, facility agreements) with the Relationship Executive and appropriate Risk Executive prior to forwarding to clients.
- Completing input of Bank analysis systems (ROTE analysis, LCEP, pricing sign off, liaison with Risk for completion of draft submission) for annual review and new submissions arising from specific marketing initiatives/opportunities.
- Providing ongoing management of client transactions and facilities.
- Interface with clients, product specialists and Australia based counterparts on new product implementation, problem resolution and client service issues
The ideal candidate will have at 3-5 years experience working with Institutional/Corporate clients and account operations. In order to succeed in this role, you will be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and possess the composure and drive to commit to meet tight transaction deadlines.
You will be a constructive team player and will have highly developed organisational skills. Tertiary qualifications in a business or finance related discipline will be highly regarded.
