Relationship Manager - Institutional Client Service
This client is a leading Investment Manager with coverage across Asia Pacific. With investment strategy covering a broad range of asset classes they are client focused and forward thinking in their approach. There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Relationship Executive to join the team in Sydney. This role would suit a candidate with Institutional Client Service or Relationship Management experience through asset management. The role will provide a platform to grow in to a Senior RM role within a business that is going through an exciting period of change. The position will be responsible for managing a portfolio of institutional clients actig as the central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders.
Tasks Responsibilities
* Proactive client engagement - including better understanding of: client needs, satisfaction with servicing, product fit, changes to portfolio structures and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
* Effectively communicate, escalate and proactively respond to client feedback.
* Identifying and developing client solutions and process improvements.
* Creating formal Client Service Plans.
* Scheduling and hosting client review meetings.
* Managing the new account take on process and account closing process.
* Facilitating contributions and withdrawals to/from client portfolios
* Facilitating Investment Management Agreements and Investment Guidelines.
* Contribute to the quality/design of clients reports and ensure their timely delivery - actively manage issues /delays.
* Producing client service and prospecting materials
* Collaborating with colleagues in other departments to successfully resolve client issues/queries
The successful candidate will have experience in a client service or relationship management role working with an institutional client base. You will have solid investment and asset management knowledge, combined with the ability to manage senior relationships and deliver financial results. The role will require a strong attention to detail and a flexible approach to the working environment, change and new projects will be the norm.
