Relationship Manager- Software Vendor
My client develops software tools that dramatically accelerate alternative investment managers’ ability to gain insight into the performance of their portfolio, their funds and their individual investments.
They are looking to hire an experienced Relationship Manager who has a successful track record of developing and nurturing client relationships. Measuring and reporting on client satisfaction will be a critical component of the role and actively working to maintain and improve that satisfaction is critical.
- Provide day-to-day account management for an assigned group of clients with a focus on:
- Client retention
- Client satisfaction
- Client profitability
- Establish relationships with clients to ensure proper knowledge of the platform, identify and address client issues and concerns, and gauge client satisfaction.
- Foster value-add relationships by establishing regular and frequent client contact, (i.e. phone / email contact with clients, in-person meetings, gauging client satisfaction, gathering feedback on future product enhancements, assisting in promoting and scheduling additional client training, etc).
- Identify opportunities for client growth (expansion of solution to additional asset classes, upsell opportunities for new offerings, etc).
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of work experience in client account management, ideally with a financial services technology vendor firm. Alternative investment/private equity experience is a must
- Consultative individual who develops deep relationships and adds value to the client's business over the long term.
- Ability to develop a professional rapport and maintain a dynamic and professional demeanor and presence with clients and employees.
- Aggressive individual who is able to forge relationships with CFO’s and other C-suite executives as well as key line of business contacts.
