Relationship Managers

We’re working in challenging times and the scale of the corporate turn-around we’re engaged in cannot be underestimated – but we will achieve our goal. To do that we need good people. People who are passionate about delivering great service for our customers and working hard for each other. We’re starting an exciting new chapter in our history – it’s a big challenge, but it’s also a great opportunity.

As a Relationship Manager, you’ll report to the Senior Relationship Manager and deliver an effective ‘best in class’ service to our financially stressed business customers. You’ll manage a portfolio of customers aiming to minimise impairment losses whilst evaluating risk / pricing and making credit decisions up to £250,000. Ensuring the timely referral to DRD if strategies fail. Additionally, you’ll cover portfolios in the absence of SRM Direct Managers and share best practices to maximise operational efficiency and drive consistency and continuous improvement. Using your strong decision making and collaboration skills, you’ll achieve a ‘win win’ outcome for both our customer and the bank.

To succeed as a Relationship Manager, you’ll have a banking background, ideally in a similar role. You will also be MCC qualified, or in the process of completing this qualification or be qualified through experience. *This isn’t mandatory for NI employees, but its likely to be a requirement to obtain the necessary qualifications within an appropriate timeframe. Additionally, you’ll have good relationship management experience with knowledge of credit risk. And you’ll be proficient in the use of Microsoft office, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
