Treasury Services (TS) -- the world's largest cash management provider -- moves, concentrates and invests client money, and provides trade finance and logistics solutions. TS products include payments, collections, trade finance, investments, and information services that help companies manage working capital and liquidity. The business, which operates in 41 countries, is the world's largest U.S. dollar clearer, processing an average of $3.2 trillion in fund transfers each day.
The FI Treasury Service Manager in Japan is responsible for developing the cash management and trade business with Japanese FI / NBFI names covering new client acquisitions, new sales, revenue retention, growth and profitability enhancement. The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients with expectations to grow the portfolio profitably through effective account management, account plans and implementation of product strategies. The role could be either AVP or VP level, depending on experience of the best candidate.
Responsible for actively managing a designated client portfolio to understand client needs, apply consultative selling, cultivate references and develop appropriate product solutions. As a TSM, client management with new business attainment is expected. Executes sales strategy in conjunction with other LOB (e.g. IB, Global Corporate Bank and Global Emerging Markets) collaboration with client service, product, operations, technology, risk, credit, legal and other areas to optimize product and service delivery. Acts as one of the principal point of contact with the client for commercial and contractual issues. Provides guidance to junior resources. Prepares correspondence and sales reports, and maintains active calling program. Ensures sales administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner. Responsible for conducting and documenting Know Your Customer due diligence.
