One of our Investment Management clients are looking for a new Release Analyst to join the Release Control Team. The role will be to act as the gatekeeper to user acceptance testing and production environments following projects. The team also provide an escalation point to the test environment support service, infrastructure change approval and coordination of application teams to support some infrastructure initiatives.
The role will be to carry out release control procedures within the Change Management process to agreed SLA’s and standards. You will be responsible for all User Acceptance Testing, documenting release control procedures and facilitating the delivery of projects from system testing sign off to production implementation, including liaison with IT production support staff and infrastructure deployment teams.
Essential experience:
An excellent understanding of SQL.
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server.
Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS
Knowledge of one or more version control tools preferably Team Foundation Server and Serena Dimensions.
