Release Manager Job in Republic Of Ireland, Teleworking Ireland
The role will involve working with the L3 managers and/or Technology Engagement managers to deliver his/her aspects of a broader project. The manager will work with Service Design also to ensure the solution conforms to the design proposals. Release Manager identifies and manages resources necessary for all stages (planning, estimation, execution) of individual systems development projects to ensure that technical, financial and quality targets are met. Monitors and reports on the progress of solution development projects to project management, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures.
The Ideal candidate will have:
• Practical experience process management
• A good understanding of ITIL disciplines
• A good understanding of available and emerging IT Telecoms technologies
• A reasonable understanding of cost management principles
• IT Service Management experience,
• Ability to work at a variety of organisational hierarchies in a diplomatic manner
• An ability to recognise and articulate complex problems in the solution being implemented
• A proven ability to write and maintain documentation and working procedures
• Co-operative team worker with the required skills to work in and lead teams effectively
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to ensure effective communication with various levels of the organisation
• Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
• Analytical thinker with excellent problem solving and evaluation skills
• Strong Project Management and Project Planning ability
