Release-Production Manager
Oversees activities related to supporting upgrading the automated claims system. Manages all aspects of implementing new software releases. Directs support activities, assigning tasks, resolving complex technical issues. Responsible minimize down-time in system performance. Gathers system performance data plans for improvements. Reports on systems support or upgrade issues to senior management. Essential Functions: - Manages the planning, upgrade/release activities, interface build, EDI, reporting, vendor relationships technical configuration functions in claims - Oversees system operations ongoing maintenance of the automated claims system - Oversees systems performance, monitors recurring problems recommends systems improvements - Manages relationship w/ vendor to ensure smooth upgrades on-going support - Responsible for capacity planning continual assessments for process improvement to ensure that processes are well-documented, sustainable scalable - Monitors ongoing practices to ensure consistency w/ policies, compliance regulations control requirements - Selects, develops evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function - Prepares administers budget - Manages, coaches, evaluates performance directs the work of assigned staff - In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors principles defined by the KP Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives - Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities behaviors necessary to provide superior culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members to purchasers, contracted providers vendors Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience - A minimum of 5 years of progressive technical experience implementing/managing software releases, directing or implementing change control, and/or providing complex production support - Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or health administration. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of the bachelor's degree - Expert knowledge of data warehouse relational structures architecture Preferred Qualifications: - Preference for experience w/ Xcelys system Salary Range: $32.55 - $43.99 Hourly
