Description: - RELIABILITY ENGINEER (1204721) Job Description RELIABILITY ENGINEER ( Job Number: 1204721) JOB TITLE: Reliability Engineer - Completions LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK ROLE SYNOPSIS Accountable for Reliability in accordance with Regional/Local Area Business activity Plan and Company objectives for Completions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform work in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies and procedures. Represents Reliability function and teamwork with Operations, Technical Support, Applications as well as Assembly, Maintenance Overhaul Execute and lead Reliability function related Roles and Responsibilities in US Gulf Coast area. Coordination and execution of regular local Incident Review Boards, as well as Corrective Action Boards Update drive incidents in accordance with Baker Hughes Incident Management Process within the official Failure Reporting and Corrective Action System (FRACAS, First Alert). Provide customer failure reports with Root Cause and Corrective Action for close out in timely manner. Drive Root Cause Analysis, Tool diagnostics and Failure Investigations. Coordination of regional data capture requirement and monitor time quality. Participate job equipment pre-planning meetings and process to ensure preventative actions and lessons learned are being incorporated. Provide area/district reliability and performance reports based on globally standardized metrics. DWR dispositions (risk assessment for product deviation) Support local OPS Application Engineering with Reliability Risk versus tool and configuration and selection. Prioritize Technical Bulletin, Field Notification implementation and track implementation rate and effectiveness Provide general Support (engineering function @ district level) to OPS and Assembly Maintenance Overhaul. Provide training and support for Reliability software systems (FA, MaPS, etc.), as well as Incident Management Process. Support new product introduction Field trial execution and report results back to the central teams Handle and lead special projects as assigned. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Diploma or Associates degree in Mechanics with 3+ years of experience in oilfield service industry Or Bachelor s Degree Engineering (ME) with 2+ years experience in oilfield service industry Or Master Degree Engineering (ME) with 1+ year experience in oilfield service industry Work experience in Completions Services Good leadership skills Good communications and networking skills Flexibility and mobility in regard to fast changing operational challenges Strong commitment to learning Teamwork DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 1+ years experience in technical function or role within Completions Operations, or Engineering Experience in Root Cause Analysis OTHER DETAILS Must be willing to travel COMPANY OVERVIEW Baker Hughes serves the worldwide oil and natural gas industry with reservoir consulting and products and services for drilling, formation evaluation, completion and production.
