Reliability Lead Engineer Job in Europoort 3198, Zuid Holland Netherlands
We are looking for an experienced EI Reliability Lead Technician to assist the maintenance team at the facility in Rotterdam (Europoort). As the plant is operated with few personnel, the role holder will be involved in all aspects of running the facility. The EI Reliability Lead will own electrical, instrumentation, on-line analyzer, and distributed control system (Honeywell DCS) reliability and manage all aspects of this part of the business including for example equipment reliability, obsolescence, contractor staffing, performance monitoring, cost optimization, and communication of performance through development and ownership of appropriate metrics.
Functie
Achievement of plant safety, compliance, availability and operational goals by achieving and maintaining excellent EI performance and reliability. Development and ownership of management systems to ensure sustainability of performance and compliance. Development, ownership, and communication of applicable performance measures. Ownership and maintenance (updates) of all EI documentation (including archives). Prevention of EI equipment failures. Development and ownership of EI knowledge systems such as equipment bad actor lists, single points of failure, obsolescence plans and EI policies and procedures. Development and ownership of EI related operator training materials. Leading RCFA for EI related unplanned events when they occur. Leading EI related troubleshooting efforts and corrective action to minimize plant impact. Execution of some EI activities (this is a working lead). Planning, scheduling, and field checking of EI maintenance and installation activities performed by third parties. Provide owner oversight (and assist when needed) of contract field technicians. Capture relevant information and provide insight in performed activities, consumables, status of the installation and details. Understand and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal requirements related to the role (safety, Arbo, environmental, permit requirements, management system expectations and procedures, etc.). Discovery of improvement opportunities, fact-based improvement recommendations, taking action to capture opportunities, and tracking performance to verify achievement of expected performance.

The refinery is a distillation unit that can process gas condensates and light crude oils into Light and Heavy Naphtha, Kerosene/Jet Fuel, Gasoil/Diesel, and Residual Fuel. Functie eisen
- Technical oriented education, direction measuring and control technique or equivalent
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Demonstrated experience with service and maintenance at (petro) chemical installations or refineries
- Good knowledge of MS Office required, knowledge of Maximo preferred
- Good level of spoken English required, good written English preferred
- Be pro-active and to have a team spirit
- Good time management, organization and communication skills
- Strong desire to continuously improve personal knowledge, skills, and capabilities – seek out and develop intra and extra company networks and attend training courses
