Our client, located in Pleasanton, California, is seeking a Remediation Project Manager. Top 3-5 daily responsibilities: Work with existing it and business applications owners and technical support staff to develop and document technical requirements and design specifications for the applications and reports that will need to be remediated Work with staff to develop and document resource estimates and timelines for the remediation Monitor work being done during remediation; report on status to program management Participate in test scenario and test case development for those applications and reports Participate in the testing process Develop go live plans for those areas Key areas identified include: Systems, interfaces, databases, and other computer impacts. ncal uses approximately 120 applications that will need to be remediated either by ncal or one of the partner groups, and all will need to be tested to ensure they function properly. Training and communication needs. multiple levels of role-based training needs have been identified: high for creators of data and high utilization areas, including certain provider specialties and coding staff; medium for data selectors and analyzers, including physician and selected other provider staff; low for occasional users, including remaining provider staff. Communication will need to also be role focused. Reporting. This will require a widespread effort. In addition to the major regional departments with focused report writers, there are over 2,000 regional staff members trained on clarity data access who will need to be re-trained. Reports that are routinely run have been identified and will need to be remediated. The ad hoc reporting community must also be addressed. Revenue cycle. While the focus for this area is on coder training, this area had also been involved with labor, workflow examination, and overall review of the impacts to the entire revenue cycle, includin
