The Role
The Operations Manager will oversee the Remittance and Cash/Deposit operations including inward and outward remittance, GIRO services, cash, clearing and current account services.
You will handle day-to-day transactions relating to inward and outward remittance via SWIFT MEP+. Concurrently, manage to issue of demand draft, cashier's order and auto cheques. You will assist to process inward or outward e-Giro, cash and clearing.
Supporting the Department Head, you will be required to assist in preparing, follow-up on reports, incidents and internal operating procedures. Top assure the effectiveness of internal control mechanisms, you will aim to ensure smooth operations and mitigate operational risks by identifying operational gaps as well as propose solutions on daily operations matters. You will be in-charge to supervise, train and guide junior staff. To oversee User Acceptance Test, project implementation while working closely with the IT team. You will also attend to and address Head Office or external auditors' inspection and queries.
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience handling remittances and deposits. You will be very familiar with SWIFT and MEP+, as well as the processes. You will be proficient in the Systems, and have good communication skills.
