*WANTED* Remote IT Support Engineer - Southampton - £20-24K
Experienced Remote IT Support Engineer needed to provide remote and field based 2nd line IT support across a number of sites including Southampton, Portsmouth and Kent. In return you will be rewarded with a basic salary of up to £24K per annum plus benefits and travel expenses will be accommodated.
The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills, be proactive and motivated and enjoy troubleshooting issues remotely and onsite.
The Remote IT Support Engineer will be responsible for:
Delivering efficient and professional 2nd line desktop and server support across multiple
locations in the South of the UK.
Troubleshooting desktop issues
The set up and configuration of PC software and hardware
The successful Remote IT Support Engineer will have:
Previously provided 2nd line desktop support within a field based role
Experience supporting Microsoft based operating systems (OS), bother server and
desktop including: Windows Server 2008, Exchange 2010, Active Directory (AD),
Windows XP and Windows 7
Hardware/software setup and configuration experience
Basic Networking skills
A Driving license is essential for this position due to the travel required.
