AERO-DC-WA-12:006: Remotely Piloted Aircraft Command and Control Subject Matter Expert (SME) Category Operations Group Aerospace Group Location DC-Washington Metro Area (AERO) Schedule Full Time Job Description Support remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) command and control (C2) mission integration to include C2 enabling concepts. Senior subject matter expert for A2CU concerning Air Force RPA planning and Joint issues concerning future capabilities including developing inputs for MQ-1, MQ-9, and RQ-4 HAF War game Participation. Support and advises the Director of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A2) and Air Staff on the development, planning and employment of Air Force unmanned systems. Assist with Air Force position development concerning RPA force mix issues with the Joint Staff and OSD. Develop and recommends AF UAS Flight Plan Concept of Operations (CONOPS), requirements, Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDTE), programmatic, and acquisition strategies for AF RPA. Education: Bachelor ??s Degree required. Four (4) years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. Experience/Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Two (2) Years staff officer experience at the MAJCOM or higher level required. Current or previous UAS/RPA operator experience required.
