Renewable Energy – Analyst and Associate Positions

Global Capital Finance, an international investment banking services firm, providing innovative advice to public and private clients worldwide with a special focus on renewable energy, is seeking an experienced Analyst/Associate for an immediate opening in our European office in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Working in a management-owned partnership with a diverse range of business areas, the candidate will assess a large range of complex transactions including project and structured finance and leveraged financing. The candidate will assist in the structuring of transactions and the analysis of due diligence information, as well as marketing our services. This is a small but high profile team which deals extensively with senior management. The ability to effectively manage and analyse transactions is key to this role.

Candidates will meet the following requirements:

EDUCATION:

• The candidate must have strong academics with a degree qualification from a top rated university.

LANGUAGES:

• The candidate must be fluent (writing and speaking) in German and English with preference given to those with a good command of French or Italian.

EXPERIENCE:

• Financial sector experience or legal background will be considered, with preference given to those with Renewable Energy experience.

PROFILE:

• Strong quantitative skills including extensive experience in financial modelling and valuation techniques.

• Ability to independently manage and oversee a valuation including the incorporation of key due diligence findings into a financial model.

• Ideally have experience at an investment bank or boutique with corporate finance or transaction services experience.

• Excellent organizational and planning skills.

• Analytical and communicative, creative problem solving.

• Flexible, ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

• Able to interact with Senior Management level.

• Team player, self driven, taking initiative, enthusiastic.
