Summary of Position:

Represents Vericrest Financial in areas with the greatest risk of loss.  Develops relationships and establishes interaction with Listing Agents, Repair vendors, Property Preservation vendors, and city officials, and internal Asset Managers to ensure proper marketing and maintenance of owned inventory.  Additionally identifies local market best practices to ensure optimum recovery and timeline objectives are attained.

Principal Duties Responsibilities:

         Travel to designated markets bi-weekly to conduct property inspections.  Provide property level and market recommendations based on field observations

         Identify specific property challenges and resolve with local vendors as it relates to health and safety issues as well as marketing deficiencies

         Recognize opportunities to improve processes systemically and make recommendations to REO Management team

         Ability to work remotely with minimal oversight and supervision of daily routine

         Special projects to be determined will be assigned on non-travel weeks

Business Knowledge and Technical/Analytical Skills:

         Thorough knowledge of real estate fundamentals, real estate law, and REO marketing

         PC literate including Microsoft Office applications

         Working knowledge of loan servicing and Investor guidelines/requirements

         Ability to accurately analyze data and make sound business decisions/recommendations based on good judgment

         Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

         English fluency is a must, multiple language capabilities is a plus

Education Experience:

         High school diploma or equivalent required

         10 years real estate experience is preferred

         3-5 years of prior REO/Default management experience required

         Prior experience with Fiserv and Equator preferred

Management Responsibility:

Position will interact vertically and sub-vertically within the organization and with vendors, but will have no direct reports.

Physical Demands for the Role:

         Frequent Travel, minimum of 50%  and possess valid Driver’s License

         Will frequently be required to walk, climb stoop, kneel, and crouch as it relates to property inspections

         Ability to effectively interact with external parties, in person and in writing

Role Based Security:

Based on extensive travel, candidate will need laptop computer.
