Rep - Sales
Atkore International is an industry leader in the manufacture of galvanized steel tubes and pipes, electrical conduit, armored wire and cable, metal framing systems and building components; serving a wide range of construction, electrical, fire and security, mechanical and automotive applications. We are currently searching for a Sales Representative to support the Unistrut Business area.
Assignment Description
Located in the bay area, covering CA, NV, NM, AZ, reporting directly to the National Sales Manager of Unistrut job responsibilities will include:
- Increase overall revenue of served market with an emphasis on profitable non-commodity 'engineered' market segment.
- Increase market share position.
- Work toward getting the Unistrut brand (and Atkore brands) specified within AE (Architect Engineering) space. Strong focus on seismic market.
- Re-Focus, co-ordinate and grow partnership with local distribution in STAFDA, Mechanical/HVAC, PVF and Electrical markets. Co-ordinate AE efforts in support of this objective across all Atkore brands.
- Establish new relationships within STAFDA, Mechanical/HVAC, PVF and Electrical markets across the region
- Co-ordinate sales agent efforts in alignment with overall Atkore objectives working with Electrical SRM, Cope RSM and the National Sales Manager Unistrut.
- Assist in the continued development of the Unistrut seismic product offering. Working in conjunction with the Brand Manager toward designing and launching new products specifically required for the market.
Qualifications
· 5 - 10 yrs sales experience at a regional level working independently from a remote office
· Engineering or Business degree (university or college - no preference)
· Experience calling on the AE marketplace, and established relationships within these markets
