Repair technician Job in Vilvoorde 1800, Brussels Belgium
Your responsibilities as Repair Technician:
- Perform electrical, mechanical and software troubleshooting of diagnostics and surgical medical devices for endometrial ablation (Novasure) and permanent contraception (Adiana), diagnostic ultrasound equipment (Sahara), and other medical devices as assigned.
- Dismantle, adjust, rework, repair and assemble equipment according to assembly drawings, schematics and procedures.
- Work with Technical Support to insure quick turnaround to our customers.
- Maintain repair database and submit required reports on a timely basis.
- Document all repairs performed.
- Perform test and calibration of Medical Devices. This includes electrical and mechanical assembly, electrical adjustment, and electronic testing.
- Maintain individual work area / equipment in a neat orderly manner. This responsibility includes proper disposal of packaging waste, proper storage and use of equipment and parts, and management of documentation needed to perform duties identified within this job description.
- Maintain correct material status and labor reporting through accurate and timely transactions into the system.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Comply with all work safety rules and regulations.
- Administration or maintenance records.
- Responsible for the repair depot.

Profile
- Qualifications:
To perform this job as Repair Technician successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.- Proficiency with all basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, and soldering irons) and electric measuring tools (DVM, Oscilloscope, ...).
- Ability to read and follow electro-mechanical assembly drawings, procedures and schematics.
- Must have very good computer skills and knowledge.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbally.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities and schedule work activities.
- Language skills : English + Dutch or French, any other language is an asset
- Education:
- Associate Degree (A2) in Electronics Technology, electromechanics, automatisation or equivalent work experience.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Oracle application preferred.
