Company Profile:
Large international financial services business with a strong reputation, centrally located offices and a proactive management team.
Role and Responsibilities:
This pivotal role within the business is responsible for the consolidated management and board reporting. You will play a key part in the financial and management reporting on a monthly basis, analyzing the business results and investigating variances from budget. You will need to gain insight into operations and determine trends to suggest business improvements. In addition you will be involved in the following:
- Annual budgeting and forecasting
- Quarterly board reporting
- Competitor analysis and benchmarking
- Business projects including mergers and acquisitions
- Strategic planning
This is an outstanding role that will really develop your analytical skills and experience.
Qualifications:
- This role requires a highly analytical individual who can review large amounts of financial information and suggest logical reasons behind trends.
- You will be liaising across finance teams and need to present your figures to senior management, as such you will need strong communication skills and the confidence to explain technical issues.
- CA or CPA qualified
- Strong excel skills
