Reporting Analytics
- Preparation of, or presentation of, regular reports for credit and risk committees (including, but not exclusive to, Monthly Risk appetite reporting, Monthly credit packs, and ad hoc investor relations requirements)
- Guide credit committee members and reporting as to accounting treatment for various asset types
- Analytical Skills - Ability to think critically, engage in analysis and make decisions.
- Undertake day-to-day activities and tasks as outlined by line manager
- Undertake formal and on-the-job training in Excel-ABS Exchange-Bloomberg-Omniscope-Software development tools and other areas-products as required.
- Regulatory Knowledge as applicable to role - Knowledge of the regulatory environment including FSA regulations
- To act with integrity at all times and embrace the philosophy of treating our customers fairly
- Strong technical knowledge, using accountancy and analytical skills
- Project Management - research, design, implement and deliver projects within tight deadlines, to organise and manage time efficiently, as well as ability to prioritise, attention to detail
- Relationship Management - build and maintain strong relationships and communicate with business units and Risk Management. Give and receive feedback effectively and ability to work well with different personalities
- Good interpersonal skills including strong verbal, oral and written communication, team player who is able to work alone when required
- Proactive-self motivated, confident, outgoing, with an inquisitive mind, and the ability to challenge, ability to cope under pressure
- Market Knowledge- Sound awareness of the market landscape, competitors, general economic knowledge and knowledge of how the business functions, a keen desire to broaden knowledge of technical banking products
