Reporting and Analytics Analyst recruitment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist Reporting Analytics Lead with data needs and research to support reporting processes and execution;
- Conduct analysis and compile supporting documentation related to QA testing;
- Master system technology to learn to create data extracts for reporting purposes
- Review financial data for various portfolios, and develop charts and tables for presentations and publications
- Prepare a large number of ad hoc and quarterly standard reports, and participate in the research, design, and creation of new reports as needed
- Coordinate, to the extent needed, the production of reporting content needed from other departments, including Legal, Compliance, Accounting, Valuation, and Marketing
- Conduct, as necessary, competitor analysis, performance contribution/attribution analysis, and work with investment professionals to organize investment-level data on a quarterly basis for reporting purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree required from a top university with a major in Math, Engineering, Economics, Business or another related field
- The successful candidate must have advanced Excel skills – pivot tables, macros, “what-if” statements
- Strong interest in finance
- Highly analytical, and willing to learn a great deal about a large number of diversified investment strategies
- Attentive to detail,
- Superior organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex and diversified work-streams
- He/She must be a team player, someone who takes initiative, and is dedicated and hard-working
