Reporting & Metrics Manager, Group Credit Risk recruitment
The Group Credit Risk Reporting Metrics team has a broad mandate for the reporting of credit risk management information and regulatory capital information across the entire RBS Group. This mandate has increased and therefore this vacancy has been created.
You will provide a high standard of independent assurance to the Group Chief Credit Officer in relation to Basel 2 3 Credit Risk Weighted Assets and associated disclosures. We also need high quality guidance and support to all stakeholders of the Basel Credit Risk Weighted Assets process as well as an ability to report on the credit portfolio analytics in support of regulatory credit RWA and capital decision-making by Group Senior executive stakeholders.
Group Credit Risk is responsible for managing credit risks and recommending risk appetite for the RBS group within an effective credit risk framework. The credit risk framework is the collective term for the governance structures, policy standards, control processes and infrastructure established to support the management of Credit Risk.
You will have to play a lead role in several respects, including but not limited to the following: Review and Challenge, Analytics, Assurance and Guidance.
To enable you to fulfil this role effectively you will have solid banking / financial services experience, able to self-start, with the ability to conceptualize, define and manage large complex work streams with little supervision from your senior manager. You should have strong analytical skills; the ability to efficiently interrogate, manipulate, analyse and validate large volumes of data with the aim of delivering meaningful management information and valuable insights into key credit risk drivers and their impact on the Group Credit positions.
You will need to be a strong verbal communicator, hold good presentation skills and have the ability to deliver confident and clear guidance and support on highly complex technical issues.
Key skills would feature around Credit /MI Reporting, good understanding of credit risk metrics such as PD, LGD, Maturity and RWA. Technically it would be advantageous to be knowledgeable around Basel 2 (Pillars 1 3) with some knowledge of Capital Requirements Directives (CRD) 2, 3 4.
