Job Description Our customer is moving from products to information services. This will ensure discovery, access, retrieval, use, and adding value to geospatial content to support operational missions. A new architecture and business model is oriented toward portal services, network-centric reusable services, and web-based collaboration. You will be assisting our customer in accomplishing its mission and vision Position: The contractor shall perform planning and management support as described below. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all support services and support development of products required to complete the detailed description of work and responsibilities as described herein. * Review customer capabilities and needs and translate them into actionable requirements in the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS). * Work with the customer to completely understand their need and be able to articulate that through the submission of a DOORS requirement. * Provide insight and guidance to the customer and assist them in developing their capability into a DOORS Requirement. * Be able to facilitate discussions and decisions based on the recommendations provided in the deliverables to improve the submission of a DOORS Requirement. * Support Government Representative in presenting the customer's requirements in the Joint Requirements Analysis Team (JRAT) forums. * Support in getting customers requirement through the various boards necessary for acceptance of the Requirement into the Requirement Process. * Provide monthly summary reports, to include a listing of finished products, unresolved issues, and projected activities. Requirements: * Have an understanding of operational processes and business practices to assist in facilitating the validation of needs and requirements. * Have experience with system engineering principals and acquisition, configuration management, budgetary, and POM processes. * Possess strong interpersonal skills, good judgment and strong writing and briefing skills and have the ability to work independently, produce quality products and be results driven under short time constraints. * Must demonstrate strong facilitation and customer interaction skills. * Possession of strong presentation, analytical, and communication skills.
