Research Analyst
Causeway Capital Management LLC provides investment management services to corporations, pension plans, public retirement plans, Taft-Hartley pension plans, endowments and foundations, mutual funds, charities, private trusts, wrap fee programs and other institutions. The firm, based in Los Angeles, began operations in June 2001 and manages approximately $20 billion (as of April 30, 2013) in international, global and emerging market equities. Causeway manages fundamental and quantitative strategies emphasizing a value style. The firm’s main investment strategies are (i) international and global value equity (including American Depositary Receipt (“ADR”), large capitalization, socially responsible sub strategies), (ii) emerging markets equity, (iii) international and global opportunities equity (combining developed plus emerging), and (iv) global absolute return (long/short).
The Research Analyst will conduct in-depth research in Information Technology and other various global industries. This will include originating investment ideas, constructing and maintaining financial models, interacting with company management and sell-side analysts, analyzing company and industry trends and communicating research results and recommendations to the team. The Analyst must support investment recommendations with in-house research and rigorous accounting and financial analysis. The Research Analyst will work full-time in the firm’s Los Angeles office.
- Minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 years of research experience at a buy-side or sell-side firm.
- Knowledge of the global information technology sector strongly preferred, but not a prerequisite.
- Proven ability in financial analysis.
