Research Analyst – Commodities recruitment
The successful candidate will form part of a fundamental research team responsible for proprietary data to support and enhance the company’s trading and investment performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiling and distributing of the Daily report collated through contributions from all members of the Research Department.
- Managing the global database of the company’s regional and central research database.
- Providing currency and commodity price charts and developing expertise in presentations.
- Supporting the macro economic analysis and data management of the Research Department.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- The candidate must have a strong degree in Economics, Mathematics or Statistics.
- Fluent level language ability in both Mandarin and English.
- 1 to 2 years of experience working in a research related role.
- Strong analytical skills are essential.
- Knowledge of the commodities markets would be advantageous.
- The ability to work as part of a productive team with sound interpersonal skills is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- A keen enthusiasm for research is a must as the research will focus largely on management and dissemination of proprietary data, regulatory environment and macros.
