Research Analyst, economics – hedge fund recruitment
My client has been established and providing positive returns since it incepted over 10 years ago, running a global diversified macro style, they currently have just over $1bn in AUM. They are looking to hire an economist to help with research and portfolio analysis/ construction. Working with the Head of Research and Senior Management you will be expected to articulate your views on the global macro complex and help identify major themes, inflexion points etc...
My client is looking for someone at mid – senior level with “macro economist” experience, you will have around 3+ years experience in addition to a solid academic background. You will have a solid understanding of the global macro market place and be very competent in articulating and communicating market trends and commentary in a clear fashion.
The succesful candidate will ideally have experience gained from the buy side although my client will consider strong sell side candidates. This represents a great chance to join a solid and succesful hedge fund.
