Research Analyst – Fixed Interest/ Hybrids recruitment

A new opportunity exists for Research Analyst with specialisation across Fixed Interest and Hybrids to join the team. This is a role that would suit someone looking to make their mark in a collaborative and progressive organisation.
The key foundations to being successful will be your research skills, your relationships with peers and sales teams and lastly, your developing reputations with clients. With a commercial, yet creative approach to advising on market movements and events, you will have the opportunity to interact and present to a diverse client base, to market your research, and play a role in representing the sector at forums and corporate functions.
Your role will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Conduct, author and publish research and be lead analyst on a range of listed securities in the ASX listed debt and hybrid market.
- Performing analysis of key quantitative and qualitative factors leading to an investment view and valuation on the security
- Employ a collaborative style and interface with other analysts and investment professionals to discuss investment ideas, risk factors of underlying equities with listed hybrids / debt securities
- Involvement in communicating recommendation and valuation rationale to external audiences including Macquarie's retail and institutional client base
Skills and experience required will include
- experience across Fixed Interest, Hybrid Securities or Credit
- hold appropriate economics/commerce and/or debt-related qualifications / experience
- have gained relevant experience from working within an equities research, financial services and or real-estate environment, in professional services or consulting, in a market reporting or investor relations capacity
- display a dynamic, engaging work approach and be capable of interacting at all levels
- demonstrate a high level of numerical ability with outstanding analysis and research skills
- submit a covering letter and concise resume (as one document)
