Research Associate – North American REITS recruitment
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Update and maintain proprietary database of analyst estimates and portfolio management reports.
- Run daily valuation models enabling the investment research team to rank investment opportunities and analyze relative value.
- Assist Analysts with macro-level property sector research and individual security analysis. Update earnings (FFO) and Net Asset Value models.
- Participate in company meetings and property tours; report takeaways and actionable recommendations to investment research team.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree with three to five years of experience on Wall Street; Concentration in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Real Estate preferred with progress towards the CFA designation a plus.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and proficiency with Bloomberg platform.
- Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks with precision and urgency.
- Strong conceptual and critical thinking skills with clear and concise verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills.
- Basic understanding of security analysis and accounting concepts; familiarity with REITs and drivers of real estate fundamentals and trends.
