Looking for someone in the center of a research platform. The ideal employee will have excellent econometrics and statistics knowledge including experience with SAS, STATA, R or other advanced analytical statistical software. This would be best for a researcher who has a passion for data analysis, collection along with modeling of sophisticated datasets that represent spending and performance outcomes for governments throughout California. The ideal employee will have the ability to tackle complex problems and arrive at insightful solutions while on tight deadlines as well as collaborating on research projects with leading think-tanks and academics on a wide range of public policy issues. Familiarity with labor, health care, education economics and bond markets is very helpful
