Research Associate, Equity Strategist
A global investment bank and brokerage house are looking for a research associate to help analyse and give strategic view points concerning global macro themes and events that affect more the developed markets. A rare opportunity to work under one of Asia's top equity strategist and share ideas across the firm's best-in-class global research teams. Excellent written and spoken English is critical. 2-4 yrs work experience in an equities research role is required. Applicants must be Hong Kong based.
The role involves generating data charts and commentary for reports, and working closely with the equity research analysts in Asia, Europe and the U.S to develop investment themes and strategies. Working for a lean team, this is best suited for people with strong convictions and confidence handling client requests and sales meetings. This is pure equity, no fixed income.
Requirements
2-4 yrs experience in Equities / Strategy / Macro-economic research roles
Degree in economics is preferred
CFA ideal but not essential
Strong excel and data management skills (fact set, Bloomberg etc).
Solid presentation skills
