Research Associate recruitment
Our Group Strategy team is strengthening its forces and in this context we offer two excellent opportunities as Senior Research Associate within our global Market Intelligence Unit (MIU). You will have the chance to take an active part in developing knowledge on insurance market evolution world-wide, identifying and analysing emerging and future markets for our company and deep understanding of strategy of global insurance peers. Due to the central importance of the team you will benefit from a high visibility within the company. Our focus is to brace our MIU team for the Asian market as well as for Latin America and therefore your professional knowledge of these regions will help you in scoping and prioritize strategic research needs.
In this role you will identify key issues through discussions with internal business partners, and determine the most appropriate, cost effective and timely research solutions. Furthermore you gather necessary raw data using a broad spectrum of sources, and organize, analyze and synthesize the findings into targeted and structured end products. These end products may be in the form of written summaries, MS PowerPoint exhibits and spreadsheets. You will provide proprietary research into critical strategic areas for our global insurance business. Furthermore you will also discipline Group research activities as reports and case studies
To your university degree you should add 4 - 5 years of relevant experience or 2 - 3 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree. Further essential assets are knowledge of sources, domain expertise in insurance markets, financials or value chains, and the ability to independently suggest approach for hypothesis-driven analysis. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills and a persistent intellectual curiosity are a must. We expect strong communication skills and sound experience in visualizing and presenting.
