Research Associate Temporary Position until the end of year Queensbury, New York
Delcath Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for Research Associate at its production facility in Queensbury, NY (Lake George Region).
The Research Associate will participate in the development and optimization of blood purification systems.
The duties will include building blood purification systems, testing, analyzing and optimizing the system function and participating in all efforts assessing and improving their performance.
Education/Knowledge/ Required Skill Requirements
- Participate in new technologies development and demonstrate design feasibilities focusing on blood purification systems
- Hands-on innovative prototype building for development and testing purposes
- Organize and perform in-vitro testing in house, collect samples, and prepare samples for laboratory analytical testing
- Responsibilities include writing testing protocol including tests and experiments and writing final reports
- Effectively communicates technical data to others
- BS in Chemistry or Biology
- 0-2 Years experience
- Working experience in a medical product development environment
- Experience in testing set ups and data measurement, synthesis and analysis.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Practical utilization and/or familiarity with mechanical/ biomedical lab equipment are plus.
- Strong technical writing skills
- Oral and written communication skills
