Job Description

We are looking for a Research Associate to join our U.S. Large-Cap Banks team in our New York office. As a Research Associate, you will acquire expertise in your industry sector as well as learn the most rigorous level of fundamental company and financial analysis. You will contribute to our written product, build complex financial models, and interact with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients. Our U.S. Large-Cap Banks team is only three professionals, and you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution. We make a strong commitment to Associate development, and give you opportunities to rapidly gain visibility and incremental responsibility. Job Qualifications

Our Research Associates typically have track records of outstanding academic performance, excellent analytical skills, relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level. We look for stellar intellectual and academic credentials, including honors and awards, and test scores and grades in the 90 percentile and above. We want consummate team players who seek a highly rigorous and challenging environment for their career development.

Research Associate candidates are generally recent college graduates with strong quantitative skills, although many of our Research Associates also have Master's degrees. They will have graduated with honors and demonstrated strength in math and science coursework; but have also developed outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Candidates may additionally have 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance, industry or management consulting. Research Associates typically advance to Senior Research Associate positions and/or go on to business school. These are typically 3-5 year positions with outstanding growth potential.
