Chemist position available. This position manages and organizes all activities in the paints and adhesives department. Research and Development account for a large part of this position. Position utilizes chemical knowledge to help improve existing products and develop new products. Applicant should be familiar with paints, coating and adhesives, to include solvent based adhesives, and have experience with the Ketone family of chemicals.
Supervises at least one individual in the manufacturing of paints and adhesives, manages and / or creates MSDS's, performs safety training and performs various research and development. This position also provides technical support to customer service and pays great attention to safety and MIOSHA regulations.
Knowledge of paints and adhesives a must. Knowledge of Archery and Bowhunting a plus.
The Bohning Company is an archery manufacturer located in the Northern lower peninsula of Michigan. Must be willing to relocate to Northern Michigan.
