Research & Development Tax Manager recruitment
We are seeking a Research Development Tax Manager who will be able to draw on their tax technical knowledge to help bring benefits to clients from a range of industry sectors.
Our team sits within the wider Quantitative Services group of Ernst Young and works with cutting-edge companies currently performing or also looking to invest in future RD in Ireland.
Your responsibilities as a Research Development Tax Manager will include:
- Analysing qualifying cost aspects of clients’ RD projects
- Facilitating the application of Irish tax law and Irish Revenue guidelines to identify those RD costs eligible for tax relief
- Managing risk and reputation
- Reviewing RD tax credit calculations prior to preparing submission claims
- Managing multiple engagements and delegating and reviewing work prepared by other team members
- Producing project budgets and timetables that are efficient and cost effective
Qualifications/skills you’ll need as a Research Development Tax Manager:
- Proven experience within a Big 4, mid-tier or consulting firm
- Robust and broad corporate tax knowledge and, ideally, an understanding of RD tax
- Excellent business development skills and proven success in developing lasting client relationships
- Excellent report writing, communication, interview skills and presenting ability
- Irish Taxation Institute qualification is a must
