Job Description
You will work on real, large scale, offline + on line data that is unique in the world. Our client offers one-of-a-kind opportunity which includes coming up with imaginative ways of correlating and combining the two disparate data inventing new techniques for prediction, targeting, personalization, risk fraud modeling on a powerful distributed computing platform (Hadoop).
The Successful Applicant
You must be a PhD with 3+ years of post qualification in algorithm implementation and experimentation with large scale data. You must be comfortable with probability and statistics, and able to understand ML/IR models. Additionally you must have experience in large scale data manipulation, [INVALID-WORD]processing, expert level proficiency and demonstrated experience in scripting languages (PIG, Perl or Python). Prior industry experience with Hadoop Ability to work closely with scientists is required. Publications are desirable but not required.
