Research Engineer
Convergent Science, Inc. is a Computational Fluid Dynamics software development and consulting company. Convergent Science has developed the next generation of CFD software package, CONVERGE, which increases both productivity and accuracy of combustion engine analysis compared to other CFD codes. We are looking for research engineers with a background in combustion and fluid dynamics research to produce software for use by engineers and designers to design internal combustion engines.
Requirements
:
MS in mechanical engineering, engineering physics or related field, with a minimum of 2 years training in the following:
Computational fluid dynamics and combustion
Computer programming and debugging (C, MPI)
Use of chemical kinetics toolkits such as CHEMKIN and CANTERA
CUDA parallel programming and GPU based flow simulation
Numerical algorithms data structure and analysis and parallel computing models
