Research Executive recruitment
The team is responsible for understanding and managing market aggregation risks and alerting the market to emerging risks. The performance management department is responsible for working with individual businesses within the bank to improve the commercial performance of the market.
The role:
- Conduct research and analysis into key emerging risks – including both commissioning third party organisations and carrying out desk research
- Project manage the preparation and publication of the bank’s emerging risks and risk insight reports, including liaising with corporate communications team in preparation, design and promotion of reports
- Prepare internal briefings, analysis and presentations on emerging risks and other insurance issues for senior executives and other key stakeholders
- Manage the bank’s market meeting and communications with participating members
- Manage relationship with internal stakeholders and associated activities, including annual reporting and communications with the bank’s market counterparties

- Experience of carrying out desk research and ability to research new areas and then discern and summarise key themes and ideas succinctly
- Experience of working in a corporate environment and dealing with commercial clients
- Writing skills – particularly report writing and editing, writing for web and briefs
- Communication skills, including presentation skills and experience presenting to senior executives
- Project management experience and skills and experience managing research projects
- Strong analytical skills
