The School of Civil, Environmental and Chemical Engineering offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs from Bachelor, single and double Degree to Master and PhD in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering.
An exciting opportunity is now available for a self-motivated researcher with a proven track record in producing high quality research proposals and journal papers. You will become part of a multi-disciplinary team to enhance and further develop research in the general area of infrastructure assessment and management. A key responsibility will be to undertake research in the development of asset management schemes for civil infrastructure in general and underground pipeline systems.
Expertise/experience in one of the following areas will be looked upon favourably:
- Structural reliability and/or risk analysis of infrastructure
- Materials and structural deterioration
- Solid and fracture mechanics
- Numerical and programme skills
