Research / Fund Analyst
The successful candidate will have a minimum of six years previous experience of fund research and analysis, with the emphasis on qualitative research with an understanding and appreciation of the quantitative inputs which provide further context.
Using your extensive knowledge of investment markets and managers and their techniques, you will be responsible for generating and maintaining a short list of managers across asset classes, driving the due diligence process and preparing relevant recommendations to the investment committee in line with my client’s investment philosophy.
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written); strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are vital for this role, combined with an inquiring mind and diligent nature, and an excellent understanding of fundamental portfolio characteristics.
A demonstrable track record of fund research at an investment consultancy, family office, wealth manager or asset manager is crucial, along with a strong academic background in finance and CFA (level 2 candidate at least) and IMC accreditation.
This is a new role to expand the current team and as the organisation continues to grow is likely to offer substantial progression opportunities.
