Research Manager, Global China Practice, Beijing

Responsibility:

Create original research reports with market impact and client relevance

Coordinate with and assist Sectors and Functions in topic generation and execution

Coordinate with marketing and communication in publication and distribution

Build and consolidate the client brand through in-depth thought leadership results

Help developing business opportunities for client

Task List

Design and execute research projects independently, and meet deadlines

Produce publishable industry and management issue reports

Continually strive to raise the quality, consistency and business focus of our key thought leadership reports.

Write, edit copy for thought leadership reports and press releases.

Analyse data including results from research provided by third-party partners

Liaise with partners in LOBs and functional teams and with our Business Development team, to develop timely and appropriate thought leadership publications

Liaise with global thought leadership teams for cross-region cooperation

Work closely with media managers to ensure our thought leadership achieves PR objectives

The successful applicants:

Very strong writing and editorial skills (native English speaker or equivalent essential, Chinese preferred)

Similar work experience with one of the other Big Four firms is an advantage

Good knowledge of Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word

Proactive, confident, but also diplomatic

Very strong writing and editorial skills

Ability to draw out insights through interviewing
