Global Research Services is seeking to fill the open position of Research Services Due Diligence Manager. This position requires a detail-oriented person who is energetic, personable and able to prioritize and advance several projects simultaneously. The candidate should enjoy working with many different areas of our organization and a varied group of vendors and research providers.

Position:
We engage with over 400 research firms globally and our expansion outside the U.S. is increasing demand for additional firms to be added to our approved list. Recent regulatory developments reinforce the need for Wellington to have a robust due diligence program to ensure that these firms are providing us with legitimate research. This role within GRS will be responsible for defining and organizing the due diligence process, monitoring and implementing the process, conducting visits to the research providers, evaluating and assessing the information, and developing guidelines for continued interaction with providers. Ultimately, we expect this person to establish a deep level of expertise and knowledge of these firms and have the ability to make judgment calls as to whether or not we engage with them going forward.

This role will work in conjunction with the broader GRS team as well as Legal and Compliance to provide additional oversight for expert related activities and firm specific due diligence.

There will be additional opportunities to work in a cross-functional manner across multiple functions within Global Research Services.

• Strong analytical and technical skills
• 5+ years of due diligence experience
• 5+ years of financial services experience
• Demonstrated track record of strong judgment skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Collaborative personality and enjoys problem solving
• Effective communication skills
• Bachelor's degree required
