An opportunity exists for a Research Associate to join the Strategy and Economics sector Research team. Candidates will have practical work experience in an analytical role within a research or business development team in a corporate, or have relevant sector analysis experience from an regulatory, consulting, investment banking or investment management background.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Creating and maintaining macro forecasting and market data models leveraging skills in finance and economics
• Keeping abreast of domestic and global economic and market news flow
• Developing and maintaining relationships with internal colleagues in broader macro teams both domestic and throughout the region
• Regularly interacting with equity sales force
• Assisting the researching and writing of reports with with a strategy and economics focus
• Responding to requests for data and information from internal and external clients
• Understanding the nuances of the industry
• Assisting in the design and preparation of marketing strategy and materials.*LI-MW1
Skills Required
• Strong Analytical / Financial Skills required
• Must have econometric modeling experience with strong spreadsheeting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
• Quick learner with structured mind-set and accountability
