Research Technician Job in Albany, New York US
The University of Florida's Institute of Therapeutic Innovation in Albany, New York is seeking a full-time Research Technician I to work in Albany and then transfer to Orlando, FL.
Under the supervision from the Principal Investigator or their designate, the Research Technician I will use basic technical problem solving skills to perform standardized or repetitive tests in the Virology laboratory which do not require changes or modifications. These procedures and techniques are provided in precise instructions by the Principal Investigator or their designate, and require limited interpretation from the employee. The employee will perform limited data analysis and solves basic laboratory equipment and experimentation set up problems.
The applicant must have a high school diploma and two years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience. Relocation to Orlando, FL is required for this position.
