Researcher / Trainee Headhunter

Kaizen works with a global client base that ranges from small hedge funds to some of the world's largest investment banks. There is presently an opening for a graduate researcher within the firm, with a view to becoming a consultant following a training period.
Although no direct experience in financial executive search is necessary, you will however need to exhibit a demonstrable interest in the world's financial markets. You will be expected to develop a strong set of relationships with some of the world's leading traders, quantitative analysts, structurers and derivatives sales professionals.
Kaizen promotes a meritocratic environment and provides a highly competitive package for its consultants. 320 UCAS points and at least an upper second in your undergraduate degree are prerequisites. Articulate and analytical candidates from the social sciences as well as arts and humanities are particularly encouraged to apply.
.Essential:
• A strong academic background. Consultants will typically have a 1st or 2.1 degree from a top ten university; although we can be flexible in exceptional cases
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Abundance of ambition and motivation
• Confidence which enables you to liaise with senior level managers and the likes
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Self motivated and driven
Preferred:
• Previous research experience
• Language skills
