Volt has direct placement positions available for experienced Reservoir Engineers. As a Reservoir Engineer you will be responsible for evaluating and planning light oil projects, will work closely with earth scientist, production engineers and facilities engineers to analyze, plan and implement reservoir development projects. Will perform lookbacks, analyze well data, support business plan development, track reservoir processing of light oil reservoirs, and provide accurate gas, oil and water forecasts for future developments. Will develop and refresh a Light Oil Asset Development Plan. Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. Advanced skills in MS Office, advanced spread-sheet (Excel, Oracle, etc.), Visual Basic, programming, query, and macros. Requirements:
Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field along with 5 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering. Must have extensive experience in light oil production forecasting, reserve calculation and reservoir surveillance. Experience with planning and executing stimulation of low permeability and naturally fractured reservoirs, including hydraulic fracturing and acidizing. Advanced skills in MS Office, advanced spread-sheet (Excel, Oracle, etc.), Visual Basic, programming, query, and macros.
